Just a little bit about our experience.....In February 2015, we traveled to Las Vegas to train under celebrity make-up artist, Debra Macki and received our professional certificate of make-up artistry. Our current goal is to work in the make-up industry in print and commercial advertising.  In April 2015, we attended the PYP Summit in New York, hosted by the fabulous empowerment diva, Crystal Wright. We learned the craft under amazing working artists such as: Emmy award winning, Kevin James Bennett, celebrity make-up artist Renny Vasquez, currently the dept. head make-up artist for Sonny TV and film, Debi Young, and many more.

In September, we attended the Beauty and Beyond class with Renny Vasquez and Nicky Polsey in Chicago at the W. and were honored to meet Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child. A week later, we attended the Portfolio Workshop in Beverly MA with the talented celebrity makeup artist Debra Macki and celebrity and lifestyle photographer, Elsie Donoghue. Here we experienced a photoshoot and worked on our portfolio book. A truly amazing experience!

We also feel grateful to have been a LGFB volunteer for many years, until COVID hit, and now it is an online system. But, we stand by and are ready to serve once the program changes.

We are currently working on our online portfolio website at www.carriehaubrich.com

Besides spending time at the spa, Carrie enjoys shopping, word puzzles, and spending time with her family.
